To Torso or not to Torso!!

HI there,
The other day i tried to draw the torso (i graded it as mature content) that you can see in my newest deviation... i got this from my book on human anatomy by Christopher Hart.... i saw the picture on the back of the book and so i tried to draw it.. its on a piece of paper i had and not on my sketchbook so thats why youll see lines from another drawing there (SORRY!)... I think i did pretty well... and you know what they say.... if you draw 10 minutes each day you get so much better and i must say it is reallly true!!!

omagahhhhhh.... thats the word.....
Just recently i found 2 more 2nd hand books and 1 is by Christopher Hart; Drawing Faeries, A believer's guide...... OMG how i love it!!!
I got this book this afternoon in the mail (august 8 2012) with a 2nd book on drawing human anatomy also by Christopher Hart... I was so excited to get these books today in the mail that i was totally weird today!!! even my clock was weird!!! on one clock (my tvclock) it already said it was around 3pm so i went out to the mailbox but found nothing in the mail while both previous book owners assured me i would get the books today.... So i went back up to my apartment and then i saw it was only 12 NOON!!! Totally weird!! so then i got some lunch and asked someone if that person knew what time the mail would normally come... So finally between 2 and 3 pm i went back to my mailbox again and this time ...... YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I took them upstairs... opened them carefully and i immediately fell in love with the Faeries book.. So thats how my new drawing came to life!!!

I still want to learn how to make small flying or sitting faeries but im afraid to screw up lol.... so i just need to keep practising and practising and practising some more untill im sure enough to make a flying, sitting or a faerie laying down.... I hope you all enjoy!!!

Hi everybody,
I have been here since recently.... i was brought here by 2 of my friends who i met online through another website... They showed me DA and since then im totally hooked on seeing everybodies amazing art!! Seriously, people on this site are simply amazing!!! Just recently i got hooked on drawing myself but i always told myself i couldn't draw so i went to my nearest artsupply store, got some supplies and some books and i started out with the easiest book i have bought.. this book shows how to draw animals using basic lines and bam!! of i went!!! The first pictures i have put up on DA were owls that i got from birdbooks i have.... i took the outerlines from the pictures and then i filled in the rest to my own imagination.... but now since i got my new toys (my new books) i am going to continue with those.... So like i said earlier of i went with the simplest book i got, about drawing animals and i drew (totally from scratch ) a.......... ROOSTER!!!!!
